Just looking through my file, to find something that triggers a post for Memory Monday This was a very important photo. It has a date on it and was instrumental in allowing my now DIL Emi into Australia. My son met Emi in Kent when they lived next door when they were both nursing at an exclusive nursing home in Kent. This photo was taken on an early trip to Paris, and with the date on it, was used as part of the extensive proof needed to prove they had a genuine relationship. Attachments:

Suppose Maccas or the Golden Arches are found in many countries of the world. So far they have kept them out of the Blue Mountains where my daughter lives, except for one at the lowest place, so there are 25 villages with no McDonalds. We find them useful these days as they provide Wifi, so when we are travelling we can sit in our vehicle in the car park and go online. Of course I always at least get a coffee. When I was looking through photos I found this one from the time our company Christmas party was the Sydney Harbour BridgeClimb and then Dinner. A few staff would not do the Climb, but it was wonderful, and at $140 a head, something I would never have done myself. It did not feel we were up high, and the steps were gentle. We were clipped onto steel wires and there was no danger whatsoever. Attachments:

Here is another pic regarding the bridgeclimb that shows where we were, not our staff in the pic. Look forward to your story and pic. Attachments:

Love the pictures Jan. Are you the second from the left (wearing the blue hat) in the first row of the first picture?? I would like to share a picture of the front of a corner grocery store not far from where Daphne & Leo live in Mar del Plata. I love all the colours and the display of fruits and vegetables. We do not have anything like this in Nanaimo .... a few smaller stores have small displays similar to this in places like Victoria but other than that we only see this at farmers' markets. That's a very colourful fruit & veg stall Sharon.Today my mum, Gran and Aunt came and saw me. It was a beautiful warm day. My Aunt has just got back off holiday to Majorca and is very brown, so of course I'm envious of that lol! We had lunch in town and Mum and my Aunt wanted to do some shopping, so me and Nanny sat outside waiting for them. There's nothing we needed. I'm afraid I don't have a photo of them cos of not having a camera right now lol. But it was a lovely day. I should be seeing Mum again on Wednesday. I'll keep you posted how the day went.Mum lives in Spain and come to the UK for a week to see family and friends and catch up with everyone. She looks really well. She loves living in Spain.

Your mum lives in Spain Louise? ?? WOW. Daphne's daughter lives in Spain too. Of course I had never heard of Majorca so I had to go look it up and discouvered that Mallorca (also known in english as Majorca), is known as one of the most beautiful and exotic spanish islands with the best party atmosphere in the mediterranean is a paradise for the tourist that seeks to enjoy a vacation full of sun, beach and parties. What are we waiting for .... lets book a trip now, lol. It is the largest spanish island in the Mediterranean and the most popular of the Baleares (Balearic) Islands where the sun always shines apparently so no wonder your aunt is so wonderfully tanned!
