I have heard from my middle sister that my youngest sister Sylvia (Dorset, UK) has had an accident on her bicycle, seems she was knocked off by a car, was unconciense for a while and is in hospital with a broken right collar bone ,bruised face, and can't think straight. She is being watched over by her boy-friend. My other sis will try to get to see her soon. Please keep her in your prayers, as from here (Argentina) its all I can do for her. Thanks, Daphne

I was able to speak to Sylvia on Sunday, 29th, she is in pain, under heavy medication, and says she cannot remember what happened, whether she was hit, or ran into the kerb on a down hill slope. Whatever, she will be in hospital for at least another week, and has promised me she'll have a complete check-up, because her falls and broken bones have been a bit too frequent in the last couple of years. My other sister has not been able to get to see her yet as her newest grandson - born 7 weeks premature - was back in hospital just a week after being released, with a weak heart and breathing problems. His name is Benjamin. So well, a couple of additional prayers can only do good.
Sometimes one feels soooo far away! Daphne

My middle sister has been to visit Sylvia. She says her aspect is a lot worse than we realised. Her face is black on one side , purple on the other and she has a hairline fracture in her head. 8 as well as a broken collar bone) I do not know if she was wearing a cycle helmet, it sounds as if perhaps she was and had a head on crash. If that was the case, it was no doubt the helmet that saved her life. As for baby Ben, after a week in hospital on breathing apparatus, it is hoped he will be back home this weekend. Thanks everyone for your prayers, Bless you all!!! Daphne

Good to hear that Baby Ben will be returning home soon ...
I am so distressed about Sylvia though and my thoughts remain with her. I pray she gets better soon. Any idea how long she will be in the hospital?
Love, Sharon

Daphne, thinking of you and your family..... such a worry for you, glad little Ben well enough to be going home.... still a lot of care will be needed though. Do hope Sylvia is getting the best of care, and responding to the treatment. With love and blessings - Jan.
