Outside my window... it's grey and dismal but not actually raining.
I am thinking... the drive up here to Maple Ridge was horrendous it was hammering rain almost all the way.
I am thankful for... arriving safely.
From the kitchen... I hear my son-in-lawand, Gord and GS Callum, packing up to go to his cabin on Nelson Island.
I am wearing...pants and a sweater.
I am creating... memories this weekend.
I am going... to my other daughter's, Vera, home to see my youngest GD. Teowyn.
I am reading... between the lines.
I am hoping... the rain will stop for Chelsea's soccer game.
I am hearing... a stellar jay cawing.
Around the house... it's very busy for the next 5 mins then peace will return.
One of my favorite things... being here.
A few plans for the rest of the week: We'll be home again Tues. then the weather will contribute to any other plans.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing... sorry I'm on an Mac and can't figure out how.

What wonderful journals this week! So sorry to hear about your friends Jan and I hope they get things sorted through .... enjoy your dinner with them on Tuesday. Daphne I am so happy that Leo is home so soon. I can not believe it -- how fast time really does go by. I hope his trip was wonderful and that his trip home was uneventful. Love to hear about how you get on with your crafts (love to see the pic of the beaded peacock) and with your friend's embroidery machine. Irene welcome back to Canada -- have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. The weather has been very wet ... today does look somewhat better though. Outside my window... I am looking at the sky and convincing myself that it will not be as wet and windy today not that it matters too much as I have to work and it is an inside job so I will be warm and dry. I am thinking... about my friends and hoping we get to chat tomorrow I am thankful for... getting tomorrow off and having family over for Thanksgiving dinner From the kitchen... I am hearing the microwave announcing that my coffee is ready I am wearing... green dress pants and a beige sweater I am creating... actually I am still packing around my wool in the car with me just in case I can grab moments to work on my squares which actually will be diamonds when I get them put together as a rug -- does that make any sense? It is all in the way I sew them together. I am going... to try to get to Superstore to get a turkey before I head off for work today. I am reading... newspapers I hope this evening I am hoping... I can get Yvonne or Kendra to pick up one of those amazing pumpkin pies from Costco today for tomorrow's dinner I am hearing... the dogs chasing each other about the house .... they are full of beans today -- hope that means a change in the weather Around the house... all is normal One of my favorite things... people -- people amaze me and I learn so much from every and anyone I meet A few plans for the rest of the week: Looks like I will be heading to Victoria after work on Wednesday, picking up my mum and heading over to Vancouver to see Leyton. Back home on Thursday. Here is picture for thought I am sharing... Attachments:

Louise the book sounds fascinating (yes I went and looked it up, lol). All about the life of a common woman who ascends to royalty. Did you know that it is the first in a stunning new series, The Cousins’ War, which is set amid the tumult and intrigue of the Wars of the Roses. Can not wait to hear your review of it. www.philippagregory.com/work/plantaganet/the-white-queen/Have a fabulous week! Sharon Attachments:
