Argentinian migration to Canada can be traced to the beginning of this century. It was often driven by economic decline or political unrest in Argentina and the fact that the Canadian immigration policy favoured increased immigration from Latin America. The number of arrivals during the first half of the century was low, (about 0.25 percent of the immigrant community in Canada) and their presence in the Canadian mosaic is almost invisible. Such a pity as Canada could learn a lot about life from these wonderfully warm, caring and thoughful people. Attachments:
