# 1. After more than usual sickness this Winter, we are back singing at Aged Care this week, and what a Blessing it has been. Big genuine hugs from staff, residents singing along, lovely comments and even our photo in a little inhouse newsletter. Praise the Lord. # 2. I have been sorting out clothes at the start of the Summer season, and also starting preparations for a trip away to one of the Festivals we attend. I will tell you all about it soon. # 3. It's time to start making lists to make sure we don't forget anything important. I went to the retreat two weeks ago without the one medication I take, and have to make sure nothing like that happens this time as we will be away for two and half weeks. # 4. So thankful we can get away sometimes, though I do miss my regular online friends and sites. When we go to Sydney we can get WiFi now, but not, as far as I know, in QLD, so I will be making sure I have reading material and knitting on hand. # 5. One thing I am looking forward to is taking a lot of photos, as I do need a new supply. Attachments:

# 1. Had a lovely chat with Jan on Windows Live and a little chat with Louise here on the boards and was thinking how wonderful it is that we can have such good friends from other continents ( worlds away, so to speak) and to have the ability to chat and keep in touch. Has to be one of the highlights of my existence for certain.
# 2. I guess I should be sorting out clothes in preparation for Autumn as it has been definately cooler these past few days. Might as well pack away the shorts and light weight T-Shirts.
# 3. I am a little apprehensive about my trip to Vancouver with my mum and brother. Seems everyones' nerves are on edge and it is such a challenge.
# 4. Tonight I will be spending some time with my little Princess Rebekah while her mum and dad are out watching a movie. I am looking forward to that.
# 5. Call me crazy but I am looking forward to going to work tomorrow at Uncle Sam's -- I like my new job -- still lots to learn but the people are great and it is a busy work environment which make the time fly past.

Yes it was a great chat as always, Sharon.
All the best for your trip to Vancouver, Sharon, trusting it will be as pleasant as possible.
Wonderful the time you have with Princess R. What movie are they seeing? Not that we ever go to the movies....LOL
Not it isn't crazy to like your job.... that is how life should be, after all work is such a big part of our life.
Blessing everyone for a lovely week, and I look forward to reading more "Five thoughts" from more members.

Five thoughts for Friday...You asked for it...LOL
1. How stupid can short term disabilty insurance companies be? I had my neck surgery June 11th and have not any problems with my checks getting to me.For the last 2 weeks no checks. so I called and they suspended my account(they dont know why) So a phone call to HR dept at work. I will have my checks Tuesday morning. Now I feel better. Sorry everyone.
2. It is my future son in laws birthday so we will be having a cookout and hopefully an enjoyable day.
3.Try to figure out how to get the pictures off my sd card into my computer. My computer has the slots on the tower but nothing seems to work. I have so many pictures I would like to post online so everyone can see my family.
4. I am still working on my famsily tree and having alot of fun being a detective finding clues. So I will be working on that this weekend.
5. Thinking what happened to America 9 years ago. It's still such a tragedy. The president keeps saying the war will be over soon, but to me not soon enough.
6. Ok it is number 6, I cant refuse...LOL Tomorrow in my town of Sturgis Michigan we are having are annual Toy Run. About 4000 motorcycles and people will be here. They go on a 60 mile bike ride. They pay $20.00 plus a new toy to enter the grounds. All of the money and toys will be donated to area children so they will have something for Christmas.

1. I am very glad it is Friday it has been a long week.
2. Looking forward to working more on my house renovations hoping to get the kitchen in order so we can actually use it.
3. The weekend will be fun with my daughter being home and my son part of the time as he is super busy working a lot.
4. Looking forward to booking our Christmas trip this year as we are planning on heading to Mexico so should be fun as we have never been.
5. Wishing the rain would slow down for a bit so we could dry out for a few days, as I love using my laundry line to hang out my sheets and blankets and haven't been able to in quite a while!!

WOW! It is so nice to read everyone's posts. Love to hear how the cookout went Kathy and Happy albeit belated Birthday to your future son-in-law. I have heard about the toy run in Sturgis Michigan. I used to know someone who took annual trips to Sturgis, not for the toy run, but some other motorycycle get together. Genealogy can be a lot of fun so do keep us updated on your work on your family tree. Glad to hear that the disability thing is sorting out and good luck with the pictures as we would love to see some. Don't forget to email me your address please. A Mexico trip Dawn -- how wonderfully exciting -- you must keep us in the loop as your planning progresses. How many are going? Have great fun with the renovations and enjoy the weekend with your daughter! How are you feeling Irene? I hope better. Yes it has been cooler (and damper) here on the west coast -- I think your weather must be quite similar to ours. Bluebell planting sounds delightful. My wish for all is a happy weekend! Great to see some new Journals this week! Welcome Kathy and Dawn.
Yes Kathy, dealing with some organisations can be very frustrating, glad you got it sorted out. We went on a few motorcycle toy runs too, in our time.
Dawn, yes it will be lovely when your kitchen is ready, are you doing the renovations yourself. Nothing like having family home, have a great day.
Irene, do hope you are feeling better by now. Good luck with the Bluebells, we don't see them here.
Lovely Bluebells pic, Sharon.
Sunday now, trusting everyone safe and well. 9/11 thoughts yesterday.
Love from Jan
