Well I have a couple of things to share with everyone from my corner of the globe. First, Cassidy's Steve Smith took home the silver medal at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships last Sunday in Mont-Sainte-Anne Quebec, Canada. Steve completed the 2.9 kilometre course in four minutes 40.56 seconds, just 2.63 seconds behind gold medalist Sam Hill of Australia. Steve and my daughter Kendra went to school together. Secondly a music producer, Tina Coldwell, is looking for young country or folk singers (up to age 20) to open (20 minute act) for the Johnny Cash tribute show. (The Country Calibre Contest) This would be such an opportunity for our youth as there are other shows coming up that they could possibly qualify to be part of also. Attachments:

Congratulations to Steve Smith and what an opportunity for a young singer. I am feeling lots better today, thankfully. The sun is coming out to play. I'm going to be outside today while I still can, fall is arriving fast. Fingal's Cave, it bears a history and geology unlike any other cave in the world. Seventy-two feet tall, two-hundred-seventy feet deep, what makes this sea cave so astounding is the hexagonal columns of basalt, neat eight-sided pillars that make up its interior walls. Attachments:

Glad to hear you are feeling better Irene and thanks for the introduction and picture of Fingal's Cave. I have never heard of it before -- fascinating. Sharon Attachments:
